The region is dominated by the majestic Lipnice Castle, one of the most imposing aristocratic castles in the country, towering over the surrounding landscape. In addition, you’ll be enchanted by the romantic nooks of the flooded quarries, ideal for walks and a refreshing dip in the summer.

Lipnice is closely connected with the name of the writer Jaroslav Hašek, who found inspiration here for his most famous work The Good Soldier Švejk.

Our accommodation is located on the quiet eastern edge of Lipnice nad Sázavou, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the silhouette of the castle. We offer the perfect combination of privacy, comfort and accessibility – the historic town centre can be reached by a pleasant walk in just 8 minutes.

We offer six comfortably furnished apartments and one detached house, suitable for couples, families and small groups. Each unit provides accommodation for 2 to 7 people and is designed to make you feel truly at home.

The surrounding area offers a number of interesting destinations that will delight lovers of history, nature, and active recreation.

Nearby Havlíčkův Brod offers swimming facilities and a chance to visit the house of writer Karel Havlíček Borovský, while the ruins of Orlík Castle near Humpolec invite visitors on a short hike.

It is also worth mentioning Světlá nad Sázavou, with the well-known Bohemia Glassworks, and Ledeč nad Sázavou, with its dominant castle and facilities for canoeists.

Nature lovers will appreciate the romantic spots along the Sázava River, such as the Stvořidla Nature Reserve with its rocky riverbed and swimming opportunities.

For scenic views, head to Melechov, considered the geographical center of Europe, or visit Želiv with its Premonstratensian monastery and the nearby Trnávka Reservoir. A longer trip can be made to Pelhřimov, known as the “City of records”.
